The “Palazzo Selam” in Rome, a concrete block, is home to over a thousand African refugees, isolated from the outside world. Muna, a 26-year-old Somali aspiring actress, and Ali, a 32-year-old political refugee from Sudan, both find themselves struggling amidst the arrival of new refugees. Originally seen as a temporary residence, the Palazzo becomes an unexpected obstacle for their dreams and aspirations.
